Zuck's wonderful world of AI

Meta’s Superintelligence Lab has released two new AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, marking its first major attempt to compete with leading models from OpenAI and Anthropic.

The new models are larger and more powerful than Meta’s earlier Muse Spark, with improved coding skills and higher scores on AI tests.

According to Meta’s own testing, they perform similarly to Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra.

Here’s what else to know:

  • Muse Wonder will cost $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens through Meta’s API.

  • Muse Wonder Full will be exclusive to Muse Code subscribers, while both models will power Meta’s Muse agent.

  • The launch marks Meta’s first frontier AI model release since Alexandr Wang reorganised the company’s AI efforts in August 2025.

Thanks for the memories

A major focus is active memory, which helps AI remember and use information shared by users over days, weeks or even months.

Meta claims Muse Wonder outperformed competing models on MemoryBench, a test designed to measure long-term memory.
