APPLE

Apple’s Health app could soon look very different.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is working on a major update, internally called Project Mulberry, that would bring AI into the mix in a much bigger way.

The plan is to add an AI agent that acts like a personal health coach.

It won’t replace your doctor, but it could offer tailored tips based on your health data, and even share videos from real doctors explaining different health topics in plain English.

Here’s what’s on the table:

  • AI coaching based on your health data

  • Camera-based tracking for food and workouts

  • Doctor-led videos, possibly fronted by a familiar face

From charts to chats

There’s also talk of improved food tracking and even correction for workouts, using the iPhone’s camera.

Apple is already working with medical professionals to train the AI and is building a studio in California to create its video content.

The new service, called Health+, could arrive with iOS 19.4, expected in spring or summer 2025.

Apple may even bring in a well-known doctor to be the face of it all.

Imagine getting roasted by your camera for poor posture.
