This isn’t a drill, Xbox just launched AI coaching

Microsoft has started rolling out a beta version of Copilot for Gaming, an AI assistant built into the Xbox app for iOS and Android.

It’s designed to answer your questions about games you’re into, suggest titles based on your preferences, and even pull up details from your own Xbox account, like your gamer score, recent achievements, or when your Game Pass renews.

You can ask things like “What was my last achievement in Starfield?” or “I love horror movies, what game should I try?” Copilot looks at your Xbox activity and combines it with public info from Bing to give helpful, tailored answers.

For now, it works as a second-screen companion, so it won’t interrupt your gaming.

What you should know:

  • Copilot helps with personalised game advice, play history, and suggestions.

  • It combines your Xbox data with Bing search results to answer your questions.

  • Currently in beta for mobile users in select countries, with more to follow.

Big Brain Assistant energy

Microsoft says this is just the start.

Future updates will bring more personalisation and even coaching features.

The beta is available in English to players aged 18+ across more than 50 countries, including the UK, US, Japan, and Brazil, with more regions coming soon.

Me: “Just one more game.” Copilot: “Here’s how to win it.”
