The biggest makeover in 19 years
Apple has launched its first foldable iPhone, the biggest redesign of the device since 2007.
The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 (or £1,999, cries in Brit) and opens into a small tablet-sized screen. Apple says it took eight years to develop.
It is also one of the first major launches under new chief executive John Ternus, who replaced Tim Cook this month.
Apple is entering the foldable market later than rivals including Samsung and Huawei.
Apple also revealed the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, along with new Siri AI features. Siri will be able to search messages and emails, answer questions and carry out some tasks.
Apple says much of this will run on the device to protect privacy.

Eight years for this crease
The iPhone 18 Pro models are also getting Reference Image, a feature designed to help prove whether a photo has been edited.
It creates a protected version of the original image when the photo is taken, which users can compare with later edits.
Apple also plans to support SynthID later this year to help identify some AI-generated or AI-edited images.
