School may need a software update
Nearly half of young people in England trust AI more than a person to check if something is true, according to a new report.
A survey of more than 4,000 people aged 11 to 24 found that 87% have used AI, but fewer than 10% think schools and universities are preparing them for a future shaped by it.

The report says education has failed to keep up with how quickly young people have adopted AI, warning that students could start seeing school as less useful for their future.
