Roblox just made creating a whole lot easier

Roblox is adding a TikTok-style feature called “Roblox Moments” that lets players capture, edit, and share their favourite gameplay highlights in a scrollable feed.

Launching in beta for users aged 13+, players can trim clips up to 30 seconds, add music, and browse what others are sharing.

At its Developers Conference, Roblox also announced several big updates for creators:

  • Creators can now generate fully functional 3D objects, like interactive cars or weapons, just by typing a prompt.

  • New text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and real-time voice translation tools will make gameplay more immersive and interactive.

  • The DevEx rate is increasing, so 100,000 Robux now converts to $380 instead of $350. Some top creators are making nearly $1 million a year.

The real bucks

Roblox is also rolling out improved physics, lifelike avatar movement, and anti-cheat tools to make games feel more realistic.

Plus, it’s introducing age and content ratings across the platform to keep things safer for players.

The updates highlight Roblox’s focus on giving creators more freedom, better tools, and a bigger slice of the platform’s growing economy.
