OpenAI will soon let verified adults access “erotica” in ChatGPT.
CEO Sam Altman confirmed on X that age checks are coming in December as part of a plan to “treat adult users like adults.”
Once launched, verified users will be able to have mature conversations, and developers can create adult-only ChatGPT apps under new safety controls.
This comes as Elon Musk’s xAI recently added flirty 3D anime-style AI companions in its Grok app.
