💻 MICROSOFT COPILOT IS OFFICIALLY HERE
Microsoft has unveiled Copilot, its big AI update, and it’s coming to your PC soon!
Microsoft announced:
“Copilot will uniquely incorporate the context and intelligence of the web, your work data and what you are doing in the moment on your PC to provide better assistance – with your privacy and security at the forefront. It will be a simple and seamless experience, available in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and in our web browser with Edge and Bing.” Sounds great!
But that’s not all… remember how Microsoft invested billions in ChatGPT?
Bing will add support for the latest DALL.E 3 model from OpenAI and deliver more personalized answers based on your search history. Bing Chat is dead, long live ChatGPT maybe?
So when can you get it?
Copilot will begin to roll out in its early form as part of a free update to Windows 11, starting Sept. 26 — and across Bing, Edge, and Microsoft 365 Copilot this autumn.
Oh also… they’ve added AI to PAINT! HELL YEAH!

🤔 IS AI MOVING TOO FAST TO REGULATE?
That’s what UK Deputy PM Olivier Dowden thinks, anyway.
Oliver Dowden will use a speech at the UN on Friday to sound the alarm over the lack of regulation of AI, which he says is developing faster than many policymakers thought possible.
Dowden will urge other countries to come together to create an international regulatory system, something the UK is keen to promote when it hosts the big AI summit in November. It’s still unknown how much of the summit or if any of it will be attended by China.
Dowden will supposedly say: “Tech companies must not mark their own homework, just as governments and citizens must have confidence that risks are properly mitigated.”
Sounds reasonable, after all, we need some kind of regulations in place, right?
