Make me a clip? Make me a track instead
Google is upgrading its music AI, Lyria 3 Pro.
It can now create songs up to three minutes long, instead of being stuck at 30 seconds.
Users can also ask for specific parts of a song, like an intro, chorus, or bridge, which gives them more control over how the track is built.
Like tools such as Suno and Udio, Lyria 3 Pro can make music from a text prompt describing the mood, sound, or instruments.
It can also write lyrics and use a photo or video as inspiration.
Google is also adding it to more of its products, including Gemini, Vertex AI, Google AI Studio, the Gemini API, Google Vids, and ProducerAI.

Google says the model does not imitate specific artists, checks its outputs against existing content, and adds a hidden SynthID watermark to show the music was made by AI.
