Jensen Huang is calling BS on AI doomsday talk
Nvidia boss Jensen Huang has dismissed warnings that AI could wipe out humanity by 2030, calling them “doomsday narratives”.
Speaking to CBS News, Huang said there was a “0% chance” AI would end the world by the end of the decade, arguing that such claims are not backed by science.
His comments come as debate over AI safety grows.
Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon recently said some AI developers believe advanced AI could pose serious risks to humanity.
Leaders including Anthropic boss Dario Amodei and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have also called for stronger safety measures around powerful AI systems.
