What did Jack Black say about AI?
Black said: "It’s so new that it’s hard to really say what the future holds, but I don’t have all doom and gloom.”
"I don’t feel like, ‘Oh no, it’s going to be like Terminator where it comes and destroys all the human jobs.’
“I’m not convinced about that because I can admit, I don’t know, and I’m hoping that it’s going to be a great new world and that it’s going to be a tool that all of us can use to make ourselves better and make the world better."
Maybe AI isn’t so bad?
Black sees the positive side of AI
He even spoke about what AI could enable us to do:
"How about it saves the world? How about that possibility? I have huge hope, because we could use some saving in some ways, too. Maybe it’ll cure cancer.
Maybe it’ll perfect space travel. Maybe it’ll do some things that we can’t even imagine that are great."
see, not every Hollywood star is against AI after all.

Russian President Vladimir Putin recently held a “phone in” with Russian citizens - and was shocked when he connected to an AI deepfake of himself asking a question about AI.
The caller was a student who asked if Putin was worried about AI.
Real Putin is on the left…
Putin’s response
Putin seemed at a loss for words briefly, struggling to formulate a response.
He then said that although AI could use his face and his voice, he is the only person who should look and side like himself. A pretty empty reply.
Putin then said that is was impossible to stop the development of AI, saying it was inevitable and that therefore Russia should try and lead on this front.
Good luck with that when you can’t get any AI hardware thanks to a certain war…
OUR VIEW:
Russia are going to lag behind on AI, and Putin knows that. The look on his face when he saw himself was priceless.
