Perplexity, the self-described AI "answer engine," has partnered with Tripadvisor to offer hotel searches.
Users can now see a clear list of hotels, with Tripadvisor reviews, ratings, photos, and highlights like cleanliness and service.
For instance, searching for "hotels in Madrid for a business trip" might suggest Hotel Regina for its central location, great service, and generous breakfasts.
This is a step up from Perplexity's old approach, which only showed basic lists with addresses, ratings, and features.
The key features include:
Real-time updates from Tripadvisor for accurate and reliable results.
Summaries tailored to your search, highlighting why each hotel is recommended.
Future plans to include restaurants and activities in the integration.
