GRAMMYS BANS AI MUSIC FROM ENTERING

The Grammys have announced that ALL AI music is officially banned from every single category at the Grammys. A new rule says only human creators can win, in a clean “shots fired” moment at AI music.

However, this rule only applies to music that is entirely generated by AI. There simply has to be a human creator involved in the music. This doesn’t mean a human typing in a prompt though.

Work that features elements of AI is eligible, as long as a human creator is responsible for a “meaningful” contribution to the music and/or lyrics.

“The human authorship component of the work submitted must be meaningful,” the new requirements read.

So sorry prompters, you still need to learn how to play something.

📖 PROMPT TIPS

Get better at using the AI tools that matter with our regular prompt tips.

Anchor your prompts

Use examples to anchor your prompts. By giving an example of what you want first, the model will better understand what is needed and copy your style.

💻 YESTERDAY’S COMMENTS

Gotta love when AI starts rating Disney movies as 18+ for some very weird reason 😂

👽 AI FINDS ALIENS!?

An AI deep learning model has managed to find previously unknown “alien” shapes in the Peruvian desert. The artworks were created by drawing in the sand - but that’s not as easy as you might think - some of these structures are 370 metres tall! The figures depict strange alien-like creatures as well as some animals.

Previously, aerial photographs covering a vast area would have to be scanned by the naked eye, which required a substantial amount of time. Not any more! Thanks, AI!

The geoglyphs were created between 500 BCE and 500 CE, making it incredible they continue to be visible - with the help of AI!

Artistic licence or proof little green men visited our ancestors thousands of years ago? You decide!
