❌ EU CAN’T AGREE ON AI LEGISLATION
ChatGPT’s upcoming app store for GPTs has been delayed!
If you’ve built a GPT already, you will have received an email announcing the change.
The store was meant to launch around now, but OpenAI instead announced they are being forced to push it back.
When’s it coming out?
It’s not entirely clear!
OpenAI has pushed the store until “early next year” - that could mean January first… or March 31st!
Here’s hoping we see it in January.
OpenAI says it has some interesting updates in the meantime to keep us happy…

Why the delay?
In a statement, OpenAI said:
“We are now planning to launch the GPT Store early next year. While we had expected to release it this month, a few unexpected things have been keeping us busy! In the meantime, we will have some other great updates to ChatGPT soon.”
Are they talking about the Altman drama, or perhaps the secret development threatening humanity!?
OUR VIEW:
This is the second time they’ve delayed GPT-related rollouts. We better see that store live soon!

The Biden Administration has forced Saudi’s public investment fund to dispose of its shares in an AI silicon valley startup.
The firm in question is backed by Sam Altman. Called Rain Neuromorphics, the startup designs chips that mimic the way the brain works and aims to serve companies using AI algorithms. The company raised $25 million in 2022.
Biden laws down the law
Aramco's Prosperity7, a lead investor in the $25 million round for Rain, sold its shares in the startup after a review by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
The agency, a U.S. watchdog for deals with national security implications, told the Saudi fund to unwind that deal sometime over the past year, a report said.
The U.S. Treasury, which oversees the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States process, said:
"CFIUS is committed to taking all necessary actions within its authority to safeguard U.S. national security.”
OUR VIEW:
The Saudis won’t be happy - the US is ensuring they stay on top of AI, ahving previously expressed concerns about AI investment in the Middle East.
