From prompt to app in minutes

Google has launched a major update to AI Studio, introducing a new “vibe coding” experience that helps anyone build AI apps in minutes, no coding or API setup needed.

You can now describe the app you want, whether it’s one that edits images, generates videos, or writes text, and Google’s Gemini models handle all the tech behind it.

There’s also an “I’m Feeling Lucky” button to spark ideas and help you get started faster.

The App Gallery has been redesigned into a visual library where you can browse example projects, preview them, and remix the code into your own creations.

While your app loads, a new Brainstorming Screen shows AI-generated ideas to keep the creativity flowing.

In brief:

  • “Vibe coding” connects everything automatically, no setup needed.

  • The new App Gallery and Brainstorming Screen make it easier to find inspiration.

  • Annotation Mode lets you edit your app with simple visual prompts.

Highlight. Edit. Done

With the new Annotation Mode, you can easily edit your app by highlighting what you want to change and telling Gemini what to do, like “make this button blue” or “add an animation.” No need to touch any code.

If you run out of free credits, you can add your own API key to keep working without interruptions.

Overall, these updates make it easier for anyone, from beginners to developers, to turn ideas into working AI-powered apps.
