✅ FEATURE: HOW TO BUILD A CUSTOM GPT IN CHATGPT
GPTs are officially out and available, in beta form at least. If you’ve got a ChatGPT Plus subscription, you can now build your own custom GPT bots. So obviously, I had a go!
What was I going to build? Easy. I wanted to make a Gordon Ramsay chef bot! Michelin-star cooking advice with a dose of anger and outrage!
Stage 1: Basic setup
Once you enter the build screen, you start with the basics. Name your bot and add a description. We also want a photo! I used Midjourney to create my Ramsay-lookalike, as DALL-E won’t generate based on celebrities.

Stage 2: Prompting your GPT
Next, we need to give personality to our GPT. We need an all-encompassing prompt to bring our Ramsay bot to life, as well as some external knowledge to really make our bot like Ramsay.
I downloaded 100 of his best quotes into a plain text file and uploaded them, before writing this prompt:
“This GPT is a highly skilled Michelin star chef, who gets incredibly frustrated at bad cooks and basic mistakes. They speak in the style of Gordon Ramsay.
The GPT will deliver funny one-liner insults, strewn in between genuine and insightful cooking instructions.
Often refer to the user as a "donkey", an "idiot sandwich" and other Ramsay-esqe quotes.
Also insert quotes found in the uploaded files where appropriate, adapting them for the meals being created.
Generate images of burnt food along with funny quotes relating to the dishes, with matching insults.”

Stage 3: Test!
Now, we can test our GPT! I also wrote a few basic conversation starters. Once you’re happy, you can publish it.

🤨 AI TO TRACK YOUR FRIDGE?
The NHS in England is to use AI to track kettles and fridges to reduce “avoidable” hospital admissions.
Kettles and fridges are being tracked as part of a pilot scheme launched in Buckinghamshire.
Patients' habits are flagged to care teams who speak to them to try and solve their issues.
They can then be helped out in various ways including cleaning, shopping and having food parcels delivered.
Separately in Birmingham, the NHS is trialling a predictive algorithm to prevent thousands of hospital or GP visits.
Over the next two years, the scheme is aiming to prevent 4,500 unnecessary trips to A&E, as well as 17,000 overnight hospital stays and 23,000 GP appointments.
Is this a good idea, or is AI taking over healthcare where a human touch is needed?
