Anthropic lets Claude take the mic (sort of)

Anthropic has quietly launched Claude Explains, a new part of its website featuring blog posts written by its Claude AI model, with some help from humans.

The goal is to demonstrate Claude's capabilities in technical writing, whether that involves breaking down complex code or tackling business strategy.

But Claude isn’t flying solo. Anthropic is keen to emphasise that every draft goes through its editorial team, who add examples, insight, and context.

You wouldn’t necessarily know that from the homepage, though, which makes it seem like Claude is doing all the work.

This launch comes as plenty of other companies test out AI-generated content.

OpenAI is leaning into creative writing, Meta wants AI to power ad creation, and publishers like Bloomberg and Gannett are using AI for article summaries and sports recaps.

Here’s what you should know:

  • Claude Explains is Anthropic’s AI-assisted blog, edited by real humans.

  • Other companies experimenting with AI content have faced criticism for errors and hallucinations.

  • Anthropic is still hiring writers, suggesting Claude is a tool, not a replacement.

Not your average blog launch

But not every company has managed AI content as smoothly. Some AI outputs have been riddled with errors or included entirely made-up information.

Anthropic, for its part, says Claude is there to support human expertise, not replace it.

The company is still hiring across editorial and content roles, which tells you where they stand, for now.

Give it 3 months before Claude drops a “what I eat in a day.”
