ChatGPT can now browse the web and serve up up-to-date info. Remember “Sorry, my knowledge cut-off is September 2021”? SO LONG! Now ChatGPT can just search for stuff.

Earlier in the week, OpenAI also revealed the chatbot will soon be able to have voice conversations with users.
It’s been a big week for OpenAI, which had been experiencing a supposed drop in web visitors, although this didn’t take into account people who could be using the app.
So ChatGPT just took a swing at Google, will this replace our favourite search engine eventually?

💬 META’S PERSONALITY CHATBOTS ARE HERE
Remember a while ago when we reported Meta was building chatbots with personality?
Well, now they’ve been officially announced! Integrated into Messenger, the chatbots will have "personality" and specialise in certain subjects, like holidays or cooking advice.
They’re calling the main chatbot "Meta AI". Users can ask Meta AI questions in chat "to settle arguments" or ask other questions.
The chatbots are still a work in progress with "limitations", says lord ZUCK. "This isn't just going to be about answering queries, this is about entertainment". Sounds FUN!
The bots will be rolled out in the next few days, and only in the US initially. Ouch, Zuck. No love for us crumpet munchers at Mindstream?
