An inbox for your chaotic brain

AI TOOLS

Trello is adding new features to make it a central hub for all your tasks.

With integrations for Slack, email, and Siri, the Atlassian-owned app aims to help users gather their to-dos in one place, without making things more complicated.

Trello’s Kanban boards remain the same, but the biggest update is an Inbox column, where users can quickly send tasks from different apps.

You can forward an email, save a Slack message, or tell Siri to add a task, and Trello will automatically capture it, summarise key details, and suggest due dates and subtasks.

A new calendar view, Trello Planner, lets users schedule tasks directly and sync them with their calendars.

While many productivity tools keep adding features, Trello’s goal is to streamline task management for individuals, not just companies.

Here’s what you should know:

  • Inbox column collects tasks from emails, messages, and voice commands.

  • Trello Planner adds a calendar view for easy scheduling.

  • AI-powered summaries make organising tasks quicker and simpler.

Currently in beta, these features will roll out to all users in April.

Trello sees this as a step toward making the app more user-friendly, helping people stay on top of tasks without adding unnecessary complexity.

Trello said, ‘dump all your problems here’ and honestly, I just might.
