💥 AMAZON’S Q IS HERE

Amazon’s Q AI has been officially unveiled - welcome to the chatbot arms race Mr Bezos!

The new bot was announced at their annual conference in Las Vegas. It marks Amazon’s official entry into the chatbot wars.

Bezo’s mic-drop moment?

What can it do?

Amazon said Q can do things such as synthesise content, streamline day-to-day communications and help employees with tasks.

It said companies can also connect Q to their own data and systems to get a tailored experience that is more relevant.

Can Amazon catchup?

This is a big move from Amazon, who were caught off guard by the AI explosion.

They are not currently seen as big in the AI space, but this move might change that.

Amazon has the advantage of being the world leader in cloud computing thanks to AWS, ahead of Google and Microsoft, can they use this to their advantage?

OUR VIEW:

Bezos is coming hard for the AI crown. Don’t be surprised if Amazon is right at the front of the pack inside two years.

😳 SPORTS ILLUSTRATED CAUGHT POSTING AI ARTICLES

Sports Illustrated is in hot water after publishing AI articles which it tried to pass off as real.

They quickly deleted the web articles after a report claimed they were generated by artificial intelligence and published under fake author names.

Sounds like an admission of guilt to me…

How did this happen?

Sports Illustrated licensed the content from a third-party company, Advon Commerce, a company spokesperson said in a statement.

The Sports Illustrated Union said: "These practices violate everything we believe in about journalism".

Sports Illustrated claim they were assured that all of the articles in question were written and edited by humans".

OUR VIEW:

Embarrassing! Journalists are hanging their head in shame - but in the future, if AI articles get more clicks… I know what is going to become the norm…
