Bedrock - A new AI web service providing access to conversational AI models like Anthropic's Claude to help businesses deploy virtual assistants.

Project Nile - Aims to transform Amazon's e-commerce search into a more conversational, personalised experience using AI.

Anthropic Investment - Amazon is investing up to $4 billion in AI startup Anthropic to gain access to its advanced conversational AI assistant, Claude.

Chips - Amazon designed its own AI chips Inferentia and Trainium to reduce costs for customers running AI workloads on AWS.

Alexa - Plans to make Alexa more advanced than ChatGPT by integrating large language models to enable more natural conversations.

Computer Vision - Amazon One uses computer vision for contactless identification via palm recognition.

Robotics - Acquisitions in robotics like Kiva Systems to automate warehouses and optimise logistics.

xAI have finally teased their AI model to rival ChatGPT! The tool is called Grok and can access X (Twitter…) in real-time and will be initially available to the social media platform's top tier of subscribers.

Musk insists that Grok is "a massive advantage over other models" of generative AI.

Apparently, Grok loves sarcasm, so it sounds like Alon has built an AI chatbot based on himself…

"As soon as it's out of early beta, xAI's Grok system will be available to all X Premium+ subscribers," Musk said.

It will be interesting to see how the new model compares, can Elon dethrone OpenAI, or will it flop like Twitter’s advertising revenue…
