AI vs human pilot - who won?

The US military has completed the first-ever test of an AI-controlled fighter jet versus a human pilot at California's Edwards Air Force Base.

The test involved two F-16 jets — one piloted by a human and the other by AI in the X-62A VISTA aircraft.

They flew up to 1,200 mph and came as close as 600 meters while simulating combat.

The AI used machine learning to make flight decisions based on past data.

This tech was previously only tested in simulations, where it outperformed human pilots.

During the live test, pilots were on board as a safety precaution but did not need to intervene.

DARPA, the organization behind the test, believes this is a major step forward for both AI and aviation technology.

It highlights the potential for AI to handle autonomous combat safely and effectively.

For instance, if you input “Imagine a soccer game on Mars,” the image will evolve from a single soccer player to a complete Martian soccer match scene.
