Artificial Intelligence has the power to transform supply chains with the power of data.

Since the pandemic (Remember that?), supply chains have seen unprecedented disruption that is still not fully resolved, three years on.

AI can fix that.

Analysing trade data is a complicated practice. Sorting through hundreds of millions of shipment records scattered across subsidiary names and freight forwarders in unstructured, error-prone datasets is an almost impossible task. For a human.

But AI tools are stepping up and delivering data analysis on a new scale, helping companies better understand their supply chains and increase efficiencies, which should, in turn, reduce costs (probably not for us though, right?).

Another area where AI applications can have a big impact is helping companies and governments better understand changes to global value chains. This relies on data-driven predictions to make smarter decisions.

In other words, AI is going to be driving government policy soon. Let’s hope they gave it a good prompt.

The company is even training its own AI models, with 70 machine learning stacks at work.

For example, every game that is made is now automatically translated into every language by an AI model. That’s a smart use of AI. Guess it’s time to stop Duolingo.

The company’s stock is down on previous highs, and AI could be the missing piece in the puzzle for the young company, which only went public in 2021. Your kid is gonna love it.
