Accessibility and multitasking in one AI package

Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, has been upgraded and is now the default assistant on Samsung’s Galaxy S25 devices, replacing Bixby.
Here’s a simplified breakdown of the key updates:
Gemini can now handle tasks across different apps in one go.
For example:
Find a dog-friendly restaurant and share it with a friend.
Check your NFL team’s schedule and add it to your calendar.
This feature works with Google apps, third-party apps like WhatsApp and Spotify, and Samsung apps (Calendar, Notes, Reminder, and Clock) for Galaxy S25 users.
Gemini Live, the assistant’s voice mode, now allows you to:
Share files, images, or YouTube videos through its chat.
Get feedback or extra info on what you share.
A kid-friendly twist on wearables
For now, these features are only on Galaxy S25, S24, and Pixel 9. Screen sharing and live video streaming will be added soon.
Circle to Search, Gemini’s visual tool, now makes it simple to interact with phone numbers, emails, and URLs. It also offers better results for images of objects, places, or artwork.
Gemini is also easier to use with braille screen readers and hearing aids, making it more accessible for everyone.
Samsung also announced a new Kids mode for the Galaxy Watch 7 LTE. It includes kid-friendly apps, watchfaces, and improved parental controls.
Circle to Search is just Gemini showing off at this point.
